RI Ladies have had some success recently in their players being selected to represent Yorkshire in the RFUW county championship - Pippa Hartley and Ruth Laybourn having recently impressed in trials.
In the first match on 3rd Feb Yorkshire lost 0-32 to the North West, but RI forward Pippa Hartley was named as Yorkshire's Player Of The Match. In the game on 10/2 Yorkshire played the East region, winning 24-10 with RI back and leading scorer Ruth Laybourn scoring three tries. Well done Ruth and Pippa!
